Flea and tick treatment for dogs and cats in Marshall County

Indiana ticks are active any time the ground is not frozen, and lake and woodland dogs pick them up all summer. Fleas are worse — a handful on a dog turns into an infestation in the carpet within weeks.

Treating in the van keeps the problem outside your front door. The bath, the water, and everything that comes off the coat stays with us.

What the visit covers

  • Flea and tick treatment bath — $30
  • Flea and tick prevention treatment — $20
  • Full-coat check for attached ticks and flea dirt
  • Skin check for bites, scabs, and hot spots
  • Advice on what to treat in the house and yard next

Why it is easier in the van

  • The bath happens outside your home, so live fleas are not rinsed into your tub.
  • No shared salon space, so nothing spreads to or from other clients' pets.
  • We can pair it with a deshed to get right down to the skin.

Common questions

Does one bath solve a flea problem?
It clears the pet, but flea eggs live in bedding and carpet. Wash bedding hot, vacuum thoroughly, and talk to your vet about a monthly preventative.
Is the treatment safe for cats?
We use cat-appropriate products for cats. Never use a dog flea product on a cat — some are toxic to them.
