Long nails change the way a dog stands. They push the toes sideways, put strain on the wrists and hips, and on hard floors they turn every step into a slip. Most dogs need their nails shortened every three to six weeks.
Nail trimming is included with every bath and groom we do, and additional pets in the same household are $10 each. We work out of a self-contained van parked in your driveway, so your dog never sits in a waiting room next to other animals.

Why it is easier in the van
- No car ride and no lobby full of barking dogs, which is where most nail anxiety starts.
- One pet at a time in the van, so we can take the time a nervous dog needs.
- We can pair nails with ear cleaning and a sanitary trim in the same short visit.
Common questions
- Do you do nails only, without a bath?
- Nails are included with every bath and groom. If you only need nails, call or text us at (574) 397-8245 and we will tell you whether we can fit you into an existing route that day.
- What if my dog hates having their feet handled?
- We work slowly and take breaks. Some dogs need two or three visits before they settle. We never muzzle-and-rush a frightened dog.
- Clip or grind?
- Both. A grind leaves a smoother edge that will not catch on furniture, but some dogs dislike the vibration, so we follow the dog.
