Common questions
- Will you brush the mats out instead of shaving?
- If they are light, yes. If a mat is tight against the skin, brushing it out hurts and can tear the skin. In that case we clip short — the coat grows back.
- How do I stop it happening again?
- Brush to the skin, not just over the top, two or three times a week, and keep to a six-to-eight-week grooming schedule. We will show you the spots that mat first on your particular pet.
